Why We Built This Site
Louisiana gives the public broad access to public records under La. R.S. 44:31 and related public-records law. The hard part is figuring out which East Carroll Parish office holds the file you want. The Clerk of Court handles civil filings, criminal filings, marriage licenses, certified copies, recordation, and succession records. The 6th Judicial District Court handles the trial-court side of East Carroll, Madison, and Tensas matters. The Sheriff's Office manages law-enforcement contacts, the Riverbend roster, and ticket-payment links. Louisiana State Police and the Department of Health hold separate state records.

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, clerk's office, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
